I’ve never been good at summarizing myself.. Suffice to say that I’m more complex than a lot of people I’ve known well enough to compare myself to. I’ve experienced a lot more than most people have by their mid-twenties, but I’m not bitter or rundown.. I’m actually a helpless optimist. It’s one of several traits that my mom passed down to me that have occasionally caused me problems, but for which I am eternally grateful. Another one is her beautiful eyes, more of a blessing than a curse, again. I’m passionate about life! I’m even more passionate about life since the arrival of my daughter. I’m separated from her dad and divorce is inevitable and so begins a new chapter in my life. I had always been nervous about the idea of getting married because you’re depriving yourself (and the other person) of the joy of falling in love ever again. So, while my situation may sound somber to some, it’s really quite the opposite. I’m thrilled to know that, someday, I will have the opportunity to fall in love again. It’s nice to have something so exciting to look forward to!
